Have blotchy skin? Here’s what you must know

Most people ignore their blotchy and flaky skin and tend to blame the season. However, the only way you can treat this condition is by understanding the main reason behind it. Here are a few reasons that can be the culprit behind your dappled skin.

•    Maybe you are using a very harsh soap for daily use that contains all sorts of chemicals, the main reason behind stripping your skin from natural oil. Instead, make a switch to natural and vegan soaps for your skin that are gentle in use.

•    A lot of times, exfoliating and scrubbing leads to inflamed skin that looks terrible with time. We don’t need to exfoliate rigorously, as our skin sheds around 50 million cells every day. If you still want to, then use a mild gel based scrub.

•    Your skin might be sensitive to the fragrances present in your soap, body lotion or perfume. Fragranced products are sometimes very harsh for skin. So if you can see a relation between your splotchy skin and your favorite perfume, stop using it.

Once you stop these reasons, you can proceed further to fix your poor skin by drinking lots of water, using mild personal care products and ensuring a healthy diet which is full of natural healthy fats.
